Auctions for your Shopify store

Run timed and sealed-bid auctions on any product. Bidders sign in with their customer account, and the winner pays at your normal checkout.

Free for up to 10 active auctions. Paid plans bill through Shopify.

Two formats

Pick how each product sells

Choose the format per auction. Both run from the same bid box on your product page.

Timed auction

Bids are public and the price climbs until the clock runs out.

  • Bid increments and a reserve price
  • Buy Now to end it early
  • Auto-bid up to a private maximum
  • Soft close: a late bid adds 2 minutes

Sealed bid

Each bidder makes one hidden offer. Nobody sees the amounts until close, including you.

  • Bids stay hidden until the auction ends
  • Bidders can raise a bid, never lower or withdraw it
  • The highest bid wins
  • A tie goes to the earliest bid
Features

Everything after the last bid, handled

Most auction apps stop when the clock does. Bidsify follows every auction through to payment.

Pay at your checkout

Winners pay through your Shopify checkout, on the product page with Shop Pay or from an emailed invoice. Every payment method you accept works.

Real customer sign-in

Bidders use their store customer account. Bid history shows public aliases, and you see real names.

Approval for big lots

Require your approval before anyone bids on high-value items. Bidders with an unpaid win are flagged.

Soft close

A bid in the last 2 minutes adds 2 more, so nobody wins by bidding in the final second.

List price locked

While an auction is scheduled or live, nobody can buy the product at its list price.

My bids page

Bidders follow every auction they are in from a page in your theme, with outbid and ending-soon emails.

After the close

Every auction ends somewhere

Each closed auction gets a resolution: paid, offered to the runner-up, relisted or marked unsold. The winner gets a payment window with reminders, and you see what happened on one timeline.

  • 48-hour payment window by default
  • Reminders halfway and 2 hours before
  • Second-chance offer to the runner-up

Questions

Common questions

Do bidders need an account?
Yes. Bidders sign in with your store’s Shopify customer account and add a public alias, phone and shipping address before their first bid.
How does the winner pay?
Through your normal Shopify checkout, so every payment method you accept works. They pay on the product page, from an emailed invoice, or either.
Can someone buy the product at list price during an auction?
No. While an auction is scheduled or live, checkout blocks the product at its list price.
What happens if the winner doesn’t pay?
When the payment window ends you can offer the item to the runner-up, who gets 24 hours to accept, or relist it.
What counts toward my plan’s limit?
Scheduled and live auctions. Drafts and ended auctions don’t count.
Which currencies work?
Your store’s currency. Bids, invoices and emails all use it.
